2017 Wings Over Illawarra Airshow
Two Blokes partnered with SWCCF to host several families going through cancer treatment for a fun weekend of aerial action and fundraising. Plenty of volunteers were also on hand to collect donation, sell raffle tickets and raise awareness of our vision of 100% survival for ALL children diagnosed with cancer.
2016 Melbourne International Motorcycle Expo
Two Blokes spent the weekend selling raffle tickets at the Melbourne International Motorcycle Expo for the Honda CBR1000rr raffle bike. They were also lucky enough to witness the drawing of the bike and the lucky winner being notified of their fantastic prize. All proceeds going again to the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation.
2016 Snowy Ride
As ambassadors of the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation, Two Blokes are very proud to have played a role in what is an incredible week for some extra special people. While the major fundraising event is the Snowy Ride another very special event is taking place, The Snowy Hydro Family Program. A group of families with kids on cancer treatment are whisked away to the Snowy Mountains for the four days while the Snowy Ride is taking place. Two Blokes work as carers for the weekend and bring ‘Steve’ the rally BMW along for the ride as well which the kids and their families all love. Another successful weekend with a group of families and volunteers returning home with very special memories.
2016 Bungendore Car Club Show
Two Blokes and our major supporter the Lake George Hotel and The George Bar and Dining hosted Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation and their beautiful raffle bike the Honda CBR1000rr donated by Honda at the Bungendore Car Club show. What great event to be a part of and raise valuable funds and awareness for the foundation. Big thanks to our local volunteers who helped out on the day.
2016 Mystery Box Rally
Two Blokes signed up again in 2016 for the Mystery Box Rally which was our first event back in 2013! This year we doubled our team including two more two blokes! with Two Blokes Too! What an adventure had by all and raising over $8000 for the Cancer Council Australia in what was an awesome “Adventure for funD” travelling through remote parts of outback Australia.
2016 Wings Over Illawarra Airshow
As keen aviation buffs and Two Blokes Matt Marais our very own aerobatic pilot it’s no wonder we find a good excuse to hang out at Airshows and we are really lucky to have the support of Mark and Kerry from Wings Over Illawarra. Over 20,000 people came through the gates over the weekend at Wings Over Illawarra Air Show where the Two Blokes were collecting donations for SWCCF. Paul Bennet Airshows, pictured here sailing through the blue sky above the SWCCF Fun Bus, were a highlight.
2016 24hr Mont Mountain Bike Race
A race Two Blokes’ Darren Skuse has been involved with for a number of years now with the “Amped Up” Team, putting a bunch of amputees (and some 2 legged imposters) up against some of the toughest and gruelling single track in Australia for 24hrs! A great weekend had by all and proudly supported by Two Blokes Major Supporter’s Össur, Lake George Hotel and The George Bar and Dining, and Momentum Sports and Rehabilitation Services.
2016 Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation Try Club
Two Blokes’ Darren Skuse cracked out the goggles, dusted off the pushie and runners for another year of the Sprint Series Triathlon. A great bunch of people banding together to show what can be done with a bit of training and hard yakka all in the name of raising awareness for kids cancer research through the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation.
2016 Alpine Motorbike Tour
What a great way to spend four days riding through the Alpine region of Australia. Run and organised by the Cooma Crew who took care of all the details so Two Blokes could just ride and enjoy the roads and scenery and of course at the same time raising money for the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation.

2015 Snowy Ride
From setting up the merchandise store too making beds for the families involved in the Snowy Hydro Family Program, Two Blokes are proud to play a helping hand in The Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundations major fundraising and awareness event of the year.
2015 Hunter Valley Airshow
Set in the beautiful Hunter Valley, Paul Bennet Airshows held their inaugural Hunter Valley Airshow. The event was a great success with Two Blokes raising funds and awareness for the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation with some extra special helpers.
2014 Snowy Ride
2,777 motorcyclists, pillions and supporters were in attendance at the 2014 Honda Snowy Ride. The event held in Thredbo raised more than $250,000 to help fund finding a cure for childhood cancer. Continuing their ongoing support of the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation, Two Blokes provided assistance and a helping hand.
2014 Shitbox Rally
The duo departed Canberra on 23 May 2014 travelling west before reaching the starting line in Perth. In a car affectionately named Steve in recognition of Two Blokes connection to the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation, the six day rally went through the Pilbara along the famous former cattle route, the Gibb River Road, and breathtaking Kimberley. The Shitbox Rally raised funding and awareness for the Cancer Council.
2014 Sydney Promotion Tour
In March 2014 Two Blokes completed a promotional tour in Sydney to raise awareness for their sponsors and the charities they support. During the tour, Darren and Matt visited the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick to hand out Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting teddy bears donated by Airservices Australia. Public displays and Cancer Council fundraising collections were held at Cronulla Plaza and Wollongong at the Wings Over Illawarra Airshow.
2014 Black Dog Ride – ACT One Dayer
The Black Dog Ride on Sunday 23 March 2014 saw 177 motorbikes leave Canberra destined for Bateman’s Bay raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. The Black Dog Ride ACT One Dayer was coordinated by Two Blokes and the event raised just under $8000 through registrations and the sale of plush toy Winston dogs (pictured).
2013 Mystery Box Rally
In October 2013 Darren and Matt embarked on the inaugural Mystery Box Rally raising money and awareness for the Cancer Council. The rally originated in Melbourne via outback Victoria and NSW over five days before returning to the starting point just outside of Melbourne CBD. Throughout the journey the teams covered 2,500km, experiencing some of Australia’s most diverse landscapes from the Melbourne city skyline to the open plains of the Sturt Stony Desert. Darren and Matt were awarded the prestigious “Spirit of the Rally award” for their camaraderie, dedication and passion shown over the five day rally.
